GAME DESCRIPTION
Da Invincible is an arcade shooter set in an advanced 15th century era using Da Vinci technology.
In Da Invincible, the goal is to collect as many points as possible, which is done by collecting boxes. However, every time you collect a box, you will get a new weapon.
RESPONSIBILITIES

CORE LOOP ITERATIONS
I had a vision for the core loop of the game, so I took the responsibility of concepting, prototyping and iterating upon the core loop of the game for the duration of the project.
GAME METRICS
Testing weapons, abilities and combat scenarios in my own gyms helped me defining the game metrics and iterated upon them based on the information gathered by playtesting data.

PROTOTYPES
During the first stages of the project I developed, alongside programmers and artists, prototypes of some of the game's systems and mechanics.
WEAPONS
Concepting, prototyping, balancing and communicating with artists and programmers to ensure that the weapons' functionality and design would match it's visuals.
This includes all 12 weapons that exist in game.

WAVES SYSTEM
I helped developing the wave system that was used by level designers to spawn enemies in the level. I also took part of balancing the waves to ensure that the player would always move forward to collect boxes rather than fighting enemies endlessly and loose.
BEHAVIOR TREES
Since I had the responsibility of developing weapons I also took the task to help other designers iterating and implementing enemies' behaviors to ensure they worked properly and reflected our game pillars.
